START WITH YOUR TASK
What do you need to do?
Combine several PDFs
Preview the first pages, arrange your documents and combine them into one PDF.
Open Merge PDFSeparate pages into files
Place split points between page thumbnails and see which pages belong to each output.
Open Split PDFMeet a file-size limit
Try a KB target. This renders pages as images, so check readability and keep the original searchable PDF.
Open Compress PDF to Target SizeTurn photos into a PDF
Arrange pictures, choose page settings and export a document you can review before sharing.
Open Image → PDFExtract editable text
Export the PDF text layer to DOCX. Original layout and images are not preserved; scanned pages need OCR elsewhere.
Open PDF → WordPut pages in order
Reorder pages within one document. Use Merge PDF when the pages are in different files.
Open Rearrange PDF PagesONE USEFUL WAY THROUGH
From the original to the final file.
Review each result before moving to the next step.
- Combine the documents
Check the file order and page counts before merging.
- Remove unwanted pages
Review the merged document and remove pages you do not need.
- Check the file size
Compare compression presets and check legibility. Pages become images, so keep the original if you need selectable text.

GOOD TO KNOW
Before you begin.
Are these PDF tools free?
The available browser tools are free to use without signing in. Processing happens on your device, so large files are limited by browser memory and device performance.
Which PDF compression tool should I choose?
Use Compress PDF to compare quality presets with a before-and-after preview, or Compress PDF to Target Size to try a KB target. Both render pages as images and remove selectable text. Keep the original; a smaller file or requested target is not guaranteed.
Can I convert a scanned PDF into editable Word text?
PDF to Word extracts an existing text layer; it does not perform OCR. A scan that contains only page images will not become editable text through that tool. Check the preview before exporting.
Does covering PDF text securely remove it?
No. Whiteout and visual covering tools can leave the original content underneath. They should not be used to securely redact sensitive information. Read each tool’s limitations before sharing the result.
