How to combine PDF files with FileUp24

Bring a report and its appendix, a set of invoices or several scanned documents together without uploading them for processing.

  1. Choose your PDFs

Select at least two PDF files. Each thumbnail previews the first page; the page count tells you how many pages that document contributes.

  2. Put documents in order

Drag a thumbnail, or use its earlier and later arrow buttons. All pages from the first file come first, followed by all pages from the next file.

  3. Merge and check the result

Choose Merge & download. Your browser downloads merged.pdf. Open it to check the order and content before sharing it.

A simple example

A two-page report followed by a one-page appendix becomes one three-page PDF. Move the appendix first if you want it to appear before the report. The originals are not overwritten.

Before you merge

Are my PDFs uploaded to FileUp24?

The merge runs in your browser. Selected PDF contents are not uploaded for merging. Application code still loads from the website; optional analytics is separate from file processing. Read our privacy explanation.

Can I merge scanned PDFs?

Yes, if the PDF can be opened by this tool. Its scanned pages are copied into the result. Merging does not perform OCR or make scanned text searchable.

Can I reorder individual pages?

This workspace orders whole documents. To move individual pages, open the downloaded result in Rearrange PDF Pages. To keep only selected pages first, use Extract PDF Pages.

Will the merged PDF be smaller?

Merging is not compression. The displayed input size is the total size of your selected files, not a prediction of the download size. If you need a smaller result, Compress PDF offers a separate visual compression workflow; its output text is not selectable.

What if a file is encrypted or too large?

Password-protected or damaged PDFs can fail to open. Use readable, unencrypted copies that you are authorized to work with. Large files may exceed your device's available memory; try fewer files at a time. Keep the originals until you have checked the result.

Does merging preserve forms, bookmarks and signatures?

The tool copies pages into a new PDF. Do not assume document-level bookmarks, interactive forms or digital signatures will be preserved. Review those features in the output and keep signed originals when signature validity matters.
