Plain terms,
no surprises.
These terms govern your use of FileUp24. They are written in plain language on purpose. Last updated: this page reflects the current state of the application and changes when it does.
What FileUp24 is
FileUp24 is a set of browser-based file tools. Supported tools process files locally in your browser tab; your files are not uploaded to a FileUp24 server. The service is currently provided free of charge, without accounts.
Your files, your responsibility
You keep all rights to your files. Because processing happens on your device, you are responsible for the files you choose to process and for verifying that the output meets your needs before you rely on it — especially for the documented limitations on the Security & Limitations page (for example: Black Out is not legal redaction, Sign PDF is not a cryptographic signature, and office conversions are text-only).
Prohibited use
Do not use FileUp24 to: process files you have no right to use; create, modify or distribute unlawful content; infringe intellectual-property rights; attempt to circumvent copy protection or document security; misrepresent visually covered content as securely redacted; or probe, disrupt, scrape at abusive volume, or interfere with the service. We may block access that violates these terms.
No warranty
FileUp24 is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose. Tools have documented limitations, browsers differ, and large files can fail in browser memory. Always keep your originals.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FileUp24 and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from use of the service. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction is to stop using it.
Changes & contact
These terms may change as the product evolves; the current version always lives at this URL. Questions or concerns: hello@fileup24.com or the contact page.
