Text to Slug

One slug per line: accents removed (é → e), ß/æ/ø/œ/ł/đ/þ transliterated (ß → ss), lower-cased, anything that is not a letter or digit becomes a single hyphen, no leading/trailing hyphens. "Héllo World! 2024" → "hello-world-2024".

How to use Text to Slug

URL slugs from any text: accents removed, lower-case, hyphen-separated — one per line.

  1. Prepare your input

Enter one title or phrase per line.

  2. Use the workspace

    Review the lowercase, hyphen-separated slugs.

  3. Check your result

Check readability and uniqueness before using them in URLs.

Know the limits

Accents and unsupported characters are removed; the tool does not check whether a URL already exists.
