How to use GIF to Frames

Every frame of an animated GIF as a composited PNG, zipped — LZW, transparency and disposal handled.

  1. Prepare your input

    Choose an animated GIF.

  2. Use the workspace

Review frame count, dimensions and delays.

  3. Check your result

Download the ZIP and check the composited PNG sequence.

Know the limits

Exported PNGs are still frames; animation timing must be retained separately when rebuilding a GIF.
