CSS Minifier

Removes comments and all redundant whitespace (around { } : ; , > and at line ends), drops the last semicolon in each block, and preserves strings and url(). Selectors, properties and values are never rewritten, so the rules are identical.

A little guidance. A better result.

How to use CSS Minifier

Comments and redundant whitespace removed, last semicolons dropped — rules identical.

  1. Prepare your input

Paste CSS or load a stylesheet.

  2. Use the workspace

    Inspect the reduced source.

  3. Check your result

Test the result in your page before replacing the original.

Know the limits

This is a lightweight whitespace/comment transformation, not a complete CSS parser; check calc expressions and complex syntax.
