Checksum Verifier

Upload a file and paste the checksum a download page gave you. The algorithm is inferred from the hash length (MD5 32, SHA-1 40, SHA-256 64, SHA-512 128, CRC32 8 hex chars), the file's real digest is computed in your browser, and the verdict is a plain MATCH or NO-MATCH — plus all five digests for the record.

A little guidance. A better result.

How to use Checksum Verifier

File + published hash → MATCH / NO-MATCH; algorithm inferred from the hash length; all digests shown.

  1. Prepare your input

Choose a file and paste its published checksum.

  2. Use the workspace

Review the detected algorithm and match result.

  3. Check your result

Compare with a reference obtained from a source you trust.

Know the limits

A match does not prove the file is safe. MD5, SHA-1 and CRC32 have security limitations.
